BRIDGES - PRIMARY RESEARCH BRISTOL

For a side project, I am doing a drawing only venture looking at bridges of all kinds from all over the world. There is so much significance and meaning with bridges and I would love to let myself get caught up in it as well as simply appreciate them as amazing feats of engineering and beautiful architecture.

These initial images were taken around Bristol.

FLORAL PHOTOGRAPHY

I have decided to look at a more organic subject matter than usual. A recent trip to Wollaton Hall inspired me to take lots of photos of all the plants and flowers there. This was a really lovely day spent wandering around in the sunshine and really looking closely at all the little details of the natural surroundings.

This was particularly nice for me as I haven't been back home for a while in the middle of the countryside surrounded by wildlife and greenery.

I have also collected seed heads, flowers, leaves etc to draw from directly. These have been hung up to dry out.
